THE EXPERIENCED Jamie Vincent has been in good form in the heart of the back-line following recent injuries to both Mark Hughes and Manny Smith.

The 34 year-old left-back has played his part in a defensive record that has seen us concede just one goal in the last four games and is looking forward to Saturday's trip to an Oldham Athletic side who find themselves just above the relegation zone.

"Every game in this League is tough, so we will give Oldham the respect that they deserve," he said. "That said, we go into every game in confident mood, particularly after our performance at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday, and we are focussed on getting something out of the game and extending our unbeaten run.

"They have a couple of good strikers in Pawel Abbott and Jason Price who has recently arrived on loan from Millwall. Price has played at a higher level and is always a tough opponent, so we will have to keep a close eye on him."
