SADDLERS' boss, Chris Hutchings has reflected upon our draw with Charlton Athletic. "I felt it was a very dubious decision for their penalty right on half-time," he said. "I'd like to see it again before I comment further, but let's just say that it gave them a lifeline.

"That said, we were positive at half-time and dug deep in the second half. We deserved to take at least a point from the game; that's two of the top teams we've played recently in Norwich and Charlton and have deserved much more than the single point that we have taken from both games.

"However, we will kick forward and push on. We had to change a few things around last night, but I was pleased with the effort and our quality of play.

"Everyone worked hard and put a shift in and it gives us something to build on for Saturday's game against Bristol Rovers."

Central defender, Manny Smith missed the game with a thigh injury, whilst Rhys Weston was forced off after just seven minutes with a hamstring problem.
