FULL-back, Rhys Weston looks ahead to tonight's encounter with a Charlton Athletic side who are looking to get back on track after disappointing results in their last two games.

"Coming down from The Championship they had a point to prove and their early season form suggested they were going to run away with it," he said. "But there are no easy games in this League and hopefully we can be one of the more difficult challenges tonight.

"Charlton are still one of the favourites for promotion and a very good side but if there was ever a good time to play them, now might be it.

"That said, they have got one of the bigger budgets and have managed to keep a lot of their players from The Championship and will be a force to be reckoned with, but we will go out there tonight confident that we can compete with them.

"As the manager says before every game, 'if you're better than your opposite number you have every chance of winning the game'. The Norwich game reiterated the fact we can compete at this level. We were well beaten away at Charlton but we've come a long way as a team since then.

"Results of late haven't been particularly impressive from our point of view but last Tuesday reminded us we are a decent side.

"On our home patch, and I'm sure Charlton won't be relishing the prospect of playing on our pitch, we have to go out there with the same mentality we had against Norwich and make sure we stay in the game for as long as possible."
