YOUNGSTER GOES OUT ON LOAN
TEENAGE midfield man, Sam Adkins, has been loaned out to Zamaretto League Premier Division outfit, Hednesford Town, on an initial one-month loan.
A committed performer who has developed well whilst coming through the Banks's Stadium ranks, he got his first taste of first-team action a year ago when he came on at Peterborough as a first half substitute.
Signing his first professional contract during the summer, he has been a regular for Martin O'Connor's reserve team so far this season and will be looking to gain much-needed first-team experience during his stint at Keys Park.
"Sam will benefit greatly from getting regular, competitive first-team action under his belt," said manager, Chris Hutchings. "Obviously we will be able to keep a close eye on him at Hednesford; the standard is decent and it will be an important part of his learning curve."
