AFTER two festive postponements, The Saddlers are determined to get back into action on Saturday as we start 2010 with a home game against Charlton Athletic (kick-off 3.00pm).

"We go into the game refreshed and looking forward to getting back into action," said manager, Chris Hutchings. "Charlton Athletic are amongst the favourites to be there or thereabouts in the promotion race come the end of the season. They have quality all over the pitch and we know only too well that we will have to reach the high standards that we have set ourselves during the course of the season so far.

"Like all of our opponents, we will respect Charlton, but not fear them. There is sure to be a large crowd and a good atmosphere inside the stadium and we will be doing all that we can to start the year in a positive way."
