MINOR CHANGES HELP IMPROVE MATCHDAY

Posted on: Tue 22 Dec 2009

FOLLOWING on from last Monday's Fans Focus Meeting, Director Nigel bond and Assistant Club Secretary Daniel Mole implemented a number of changes at Saturday's League One fixture with Leyton Orient.

One area of concern was the stocking of food and beverages in the kiosks leading up to kick-off. Nigel and Dan kept a close eye on this on Saturday and were pleased to report back that all kiosks had sufficient amounts of pies and drinks.

At the request of those using the Stadium Suite, the screens were removed to open up the room and, despite minor teething trouble, the microphone was fixed to enable Matchday Host, Mike Day to interview suspended skipper Mark Hughes before the game and read out the team line-ups.

The club will continue to make improvements and monitor the situation. Thank you to all of those concerned for their suggestions.

As and when possible, other Walsall FC personnel will visit the Stadium Suite during the pre-match build-up. Due to licensing laws, the screens must be in place 15 minutes before kick-off in the Stadium Suite and we would ask that supporters continue to respect this law.
