DARREN Byfield goes head-to-head with his Best Man this evening hoping to earn the bragging rights.
Oldham defender Reuben Hazell is one of Byfield's closest pals and, as well as being Best Man at his wedding to Jamelia, is also God Father to his child.
The Brummie pair came up through the ranks together at Aston Villa and have remained friends ever since.
Tonight, Byfield, who had a brief spell with The Latics earlier this season, is hoping to win the 'Battle of Best Mates' and help The Saddlers record a third straight home victory.
"I've nothing to prove to Oldham directly but a massive point to prove to Reuben, who is my best mate," he said. "He was Best Man at my wedding and is God Father to my child.
"He plays centre-half and it's absolutely massive that he doesn't get the better of me. No pressure but sorry, it's nothing to do with Oldham, it's all about me and Reuben!
"I need about 30 tickets because we are both from Birmingham, and everyone's coming to the game. Reuben isn't just a friend, he is more like family."

Byfield took a knock to his ankle during Saturday's 1-1 draw with Brentford but is determined to pit his wits against Hazell, who he admits has helped him through his recent marriage break-up.
"My ankle had better be okay," he added. "If I have to hobble out there I'll play.
"They say that when you are happy away from football you are happy at football. Being back in the Midlands around my family and friends brings the best out of me.
"I know a lot of people have made a lot about my divorce but me and Jamelia are still on good speaking terms. We have a daughter together and it's okay the way things have worked out.
"But if I was away from the Midlands I would be enjoying myself on the pitch but then back at an apartment or hotel without my family and friends around me.
"Now after training I have all my mates and family close by so I am really enjoying myself. Football is the biggest release and when you are out on the pitch you just enjoy yourself."
