STEVE Jones made a telling impact on Saturday as The Saddlers came from two goals behind to beat Wycombe Wanderers. "I believe that, at this moment in time, if I get on the field, I will score and it's a good feeling to have," he said. "I feel 100% fit now, which I wasn't at the start of the season and I am very confident.

"We had a good talk at half-time; we know it wasn't good enough, they took the game to us and were a real handful. We changed it and luckily it worked out for us in the end.

"We've played some of the top teams and done really well but not got our rewards. On Saturday we didn't play that well and got the rewards. It's swings and roundabouts but it was a tough place to go; they are fighting for their lives but in the second half we dug in and did well.

"I've not played 'in the hole' before and it was something I really enjoyed. You want to play in as many games as you can and anywhere in midfield or up front I'm happy to play and do the job for the team."
