THERE'LL BE NO SITTING BACK AT THE CHAIRBOYS

Posted on: Fri 30 Oct 2009

DESPITE going into the game at the foot of the League One table, Rhys Weston knows that Wycombe Wanderers will provide tough opposition on Saturday.

"As has been proved week in, week out everyone in this League is capable of beating each other," he said. "They have recently had a new manager, so it's going to be a tough test for us.

"That said, there were long periods at Colchester where we looked a class above our hosts. We passed the ball very well and got plenty of crosses into the box. If we can repeat that kind of performance, it will be only a matter of time before things come together.

"The form book goes out of the window in this type of game. The Wycombe players have a clean slate and the opportunity to prove themselves to the new regime, but I am confident in our ability to be able to impose ourselves on the game and come away with the three points."
