MIDFIELD man, Richard Taundry returned to action for the reserves on Tuesday after being laid low for over a month with a hamstring injury.

"Richard is itching to get back into first-team action," said manager, Chris Hutchings. "We don't want to rush him, but we will be assessing him closely in training over the next couple of days and as long as he comes through that okay, he will have a chance of being involved at Wycombe.

"He is an energetic competitor who can play in a number of different positions and is 100% committed wherever he plays. It is a real boost to have him back."

Taundry's last first-team outing came in the 3-2 victory at Tranmere Rovers back on September 12th.
