SADDLERS' boss, Chris Hutchings has reflected upon our defeat at MK Dons. "I was pleased with the way we performed against a good side who will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season," he said. "The lads displayed commendable effort and commitment, but we were guilty of missing several good chances that cost us dearly in the end.

"If you don't take the opportunities that come your way at places like this you will get punished and we were disappointed to come home with nothing to show for our efforts."

Clayton McDonald was forced to limp out of the action early in the second half with a groin strain.
