THE SADDLERS head for Tranmere Rovers on Saturday looking to make a return to winning ways. "We've played some very good teams so far and it's been a tough start, but we have to approach every game in the right manner, which we will be doing on Saturday as we head to Tranmere," said manager, Chris Hutchings. "We have done our homework on them and are well aware of how they can play.

"They just missed out on the play-offs last season, so are a decent side. John Barnes has come in and is trying to get the team to play a certain way, but it takes time.

"I'm sure that if Michael Ricketts is involved, he will have a point to prove, but we have to focus on what we do and make sure that we are at it from the word go.

"The support that we received at Norwich last weekend was fantastic and more of the same will be required at Prenton Park."
