THE SADDLERS will be looking to paint the town red tonight as we set out on the Johnstone's Paint Trophy trail with a first round tie against Bury here at the Banks's Stadium (kick-off 7.45pm).

"This is a competition that we will be taking very seriously," stressed manager, Chris Hutchings. "With a Wembley Final and a pot of prize money up for grabs, it would be foolish for us to not treat the competition with the respect that it deserves.

"Winning breeds confidence and a run in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy would give the club a lift on many different levels.

"Everyone has a role to play in this and I will be looking for our supporters to get behind the team and help us in our quest to make the Banks's Stadium a fortress."
