LATE WOE FOR INCE
CLAYTON Ince played the full 90 minutes for Trinidad & Tobago on Wednesday as they let a two-goal lead slip late on in El Salvador to draw 2-2.
Carlos Edwards and Dwight Yorke were on the mark for T&T as Ince made a number of good saves to frustrate the home side.
He was eventually beaten from a free-kick in the 79th minute before the hosts went on to snatch an injury time equaliser.
The game saw the start of the final phase of qualifying in the North, Central America and Caribbean region for the 2010 World Cup. Six nations - Trinidad & Tobago, El Salvador, USA, Mexico, Coasta Rica and Honduras - will battle it out with the top three qualifying and the fourth-placed team facing a play-off against a team from the South America region.
Ince will return to these shores on Friday and is in line for a return to action against Colcheser United.
