THE SADDLERS will be eyeing our first double of the season on Saturday as Brighton & Hove Albion provide our first opposition of 2009.

Our trip down to the south coast earlier in the season, of course, ended in a never-to-be-forgotten 1-0 win as we battled for over an hour wth just nine men following the dismissal of Rhys Weston and Netan Sansara.

"We've got to display the same level of commitment, drive and willingness to win on Saturday as we did in the away game at Brighton in September," said manager, Jimmy Mullen, who rates that victory as one of his proudest moments in football. "Brighton have a good squad of players and an experienced manager in Micky Adams. Why they haven't clicked so far is not for me to say, but we're only half way through the season and they have time to start moving up the table.

"It's going to be a tough first test of the year for us, but we are up for it and ready to go. We are determined to get the three points any way we can and start 2009 on the right note."
