POPULAR goalkeeper, Clayton Ince is hoping that we can make a return to winning ways at Carlisle United.

The 36 year-old has been in impressive form over the festive period. "It's going to be a long, cold journey up to Carlisle," said the Trinidad & Tobago International. "We know it will be a difficult game, but we are ready for the conditions and determined to get three points and give our fans something to cheer about.

"It's been a punishing schedule of matches over Christmas and the New Year, but the lads have been working hard and now is the time to reach a level of consistency that will give us a successful second half of the season.

"I would like to wish all Walsall supporters and their families a very Happy New Year."
