SANSARA DETERMINED TO KEEP HOLD OF STARTING PLACE

Posted on: Sat 20 Dec 2008

EMERGING left-back, Netan Sansara made a return to the starting line-up last weekend and is determined to hold onto his place as we head for Cheltenham Town for the first of four festive matches in a fortnight.

"It's been a long wait, but I just want to kick on from here," he said. "It's up to me to keep my place now; I thought that I did okay against Millwall once I got into my stride.

"I look at what the other young lads achieved here last year and to have five appearances under my belt before Christmas is pleasing. There are a lot of matches coming up in the weeks ahead and I want to put in the performances that will cement my place in the side.

"There is a great bond within the club; everyone has knitted together well and all we need now is to get the slice of luck on our side that we have been lacking recently."
