MULLEN ON DEMONTAGNAC DEPARTURE
SADDLERS' boss, Jimmy Mullen has spoken about the termination of Ishmel Demontagnac's contract. "It's the culmination of three years of indiscipline," he said. "The lad is a fantastic talent who, on his day, could open up any defence. That's why it is a complete and utter shame that it has been necessary to take this course of action.
"It's not a nice situation to be in, but we have to move on."
Having joined our youth ranks from Charlton Athletic, the 20 year-old Londoner burst onto the first-team scene in 2005/06, scoring on his senior debut at Port Vale.
He went on to make a total of 98 appearances for the club in all competitions, with 62 of those outings coming off the substitutes' bench.
This term he has made just two starts and ten substitute appearances, scoring three goals in the process, all of which came in the 5-2 victory over Southend United in August.
