JIMMY Mullen believes that the pressure will be off tonight's opponents when The Saddlers entertain Luton Town in the Southern Area quarter-final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The Hatters are currently bottom of League Two after being hit with a 30-point deduction and Mullen believes that the JPT could serve as a welcome distraction for Mick Harford's troops.

"It is going to be difficult for us," he said. "Luton will come here with no pressure on them. We all know about the difficulties they face in League Two with their points deduction but they can put that to one side and come here and play.

"I'm sure Mick Harford will be saying to his team 'let's go there and enjoy the game, we've got nothing to lose and have the chance to get a step closer to Wembley'. It's a big game for us and we want to go as far as we can in this competition.

"No matter who you are, as a player, manager or coach, you want to walk down Wembley Way.

"I've been there before when I was managing Burnley. We got to the Play-Off Final against Stockport County in 1994 and it was a fantastic occasion, one that lives in your memory.

"That's what at stake for both teams tonight, the chance to take a step closer to Wembley. It will be a tough test but one we are capable of overcoming."
