SADDLERS' boss, Jimmy Mullen was a disappointed man as he reflected upon our 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Peterborough United, but has every faith in his players to respond in the right way.

"To be fair to Peterborough, they played very well and deserved to win the game, I have no qualms about that," he said. "I was very disappointed with the way in which we conceded within the first minute; it set the standard and gave us a real mountain to climb against good opposition.

"We were taught a lesson, but it is all part of our learning curve. I think this will be a reality check for us, but that said, the players have done well for me so far this season and I am confident that we can bounce back from this blip in the right way.

"We have a good group of players here and we will put this behind us and move on. We've got where we are through hard work and endeavour, so let's get back to that.

"On the positive side, we kept going today, as our goal in the dying seconds proved."
