SADDLERS' boss, Jimmy Mullen is facing our first home League game of the season with real relish as we play host to Scunthorpe United. "We want to put on a performance for our first home League game," he said. "We know it's going to be tough, but we are looking forward to it.

"Hopefully there will be a good crowd in attendance and if we play to our capabilities we have every chance of getting a winning result.

"Scunthorpe have started the season with two defeats, but I fully expect them to be up there challenging this season. They have a strong squad and it will give us a good gauge of where we're at.

"Nigel Adkins likes his side to get the ball down and pass and their recent Championship experience is sure to stand them in good stead."
