SADDLERS' boss, Jimmy Mullen was a happy man after seeing his side notch up another convincing pre-season victory as we ran out convincing 4-0 winners at Worcester City.

"The game was another step forward for us in our preparations," he said. "Once more I was pleased with the way in which the whole squad committed themselves to the task in hand.

"We handled situations well and, to be fair, dominated from start to finish.

"It was nice to see us get amongst the goals and also keep another clean sheet."

Trialists Georges Ba and Patrick Suffo were amongst the goalscorers as Stephen Cooke sat out the game for 'personal reasons'. "We have not closed the door on Stephen here," added Mullen.

The Saddlers will be sending a youthful side to Rushall Olympic on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm) before Aston Villa provide the Banks's Stadium opposition on Tuesday (kick-off 7.45pm).
