JOHN SCHOFIELD has completed his UEFA Pro License.

The Saddlers' First Team Coach completed the qualification and graduated alongside the likes of Roy Keane and former Walsall stalwart, Dean Smith.

"It's an important qualifiaction and I'm delighted to have the Pro License under my belt," he said. "It's the highest qualification in coaching and I'm already putting the things I've learnt in to practise.

"Don Howe presented me with the qualification and told our group that we were amongst only a 100 or so coaches with a Pro License. It's a great personal achievement.

"The Gaffer also has a Pro License and that can only be good for ourselves and Walsall Football Club."
