THE SADDLERS have completed their fourth summer signing with Frenchman, Sofiene Zaaboub, today agreeing a one-year contract here at the Banks's Stadium.

The 25 year-old began his career in his native France with Montereau before moving to St. Etienne in 1998.

Coming up through the ranks to earn a first professional contract, he went on to make 20 first-team appearances before moving to Italy in 2002.

The midfielder enjoyed a brief stay with Juventus before moving to Modena. Spells with Spanish outfit, Real Jaen, and Belgium's FC Brussels followed before he arrived on these shores in 2006.

Linking up with Swindon Town, Zaaboub went on to make over 60 appearances during a prosperous spell at the County Ground.

"Sofiene is a another proven player at this level," explained Saddlers' boss, Jimmy Mullen. "He is at the right age, has an excellent pedigree and I am sure will prove to be a valuable member of the squad.

"He is comfortable both in midfield and at full-back and I am looking forward to working with him."
