THE SADDLERS have today awarded Josh Craddock with a first professional contract.

The Wolverhampton-born youngster, who can play in midfield or attack, bagged 12 goals in just 16 starts during last season's Championship-winning campaign for the youth team and also made his first-team bow during the final game of the season as The Saddlers drew 2-2 with Hartlepool United.

The 17 year-old joins fellow youngsters Richard Davies and Hassan Bacchus in signing professional contracts here at the Banks's Stadium and the trio will link-up with the first-team squad when they return for pre-season training in July.

Meanwhile Paul Hall, who spent the second-half of the 2007/08 campaign on loan at Wrexham, has been released.
