STRIKER - KEVIN WILSON
The experienced Northern Ireland International spent three excellent seasons with The Saddlers where he simply oozed quality and class.
His career began with home-town club, Banbury United where his ability alerted the attention of Derby County who paid £20,000 for his services in December 1979.
After over 140 games and 41 goals for The Rams, he was signed by Ipswich Town for £100,000 in January 1985.
He added another 125 outings for the Portman Road outfit, adding 49 goals to his tally in the process. This record prompted a £335,000 transfer to Chelsea in the summer of 1987 and he went on to become a popular figure at Stamford Bridge.
Playing almost 200 games for the Blues, he scored 55 goals before moving on to Notts County, who were members of the top-flight at the time.
A loan spell at Bradford City came before he arrived at Bescot Stadium.
During his time with The Saddlers he netted the 200th goal of his professional career and also reached the personal milestone of 700 senior appearances.
Capped 42 times by Northern Ireland, he formed a lethal partnership with Kyle Lightbourne that yielded a total of 49 goals between them as we gained promotion into Division Two in 1994/95.
The duo then scored another 43 goals between them during the course of the following campaign and 34 strikes in 1996/97.
Wilson eventually departed for Northampton Town in July 1997 and later became manager of The Cobblers.
He has also managed Kettering Town, Hucknall Town and Corby Town and has previously turned out for Chelsea in the Masters Tournament.
