MONEY KEEPS IT FRESH
THERE has been a slight change to The Saddlers' training schedule this week as we prepare for a run of three games in seven days, starting with Saturday's trip to Cheltenham Town (kick-off 3.00pm).
The players went ten-pin bowling on Tuesday before enjoying an upbeat session on Thursday. "Fitness levels are not an issue at this stage of the season," said manager, Richard Money. "It's all about keeping the lads fresh, alive and bright to get as many points as we can and see where it takes us.
"We have worked the players hard this season, but with three tough fixtures coming up next week, we felt it beneficial to change things around a bit this week in preparation for that."
PLEASE NOTE THAT SATURDAY'S FIRST-EVER LEAGUE TRIP TO CHELTENHAM TOWN IS ALL-TICKET FOR WALSALL SUPPORTERS. DO NOT TRAVEL WITHOUT A TICKET. A LIMITED NUMBER OF TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE UP UNTIL 3.00pm ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON FROM THE BANKS'S STADIUM AND THE FOOTBALL SHOP IN WALSALL TOWN CENTRE.
If you are unable to make it along to the game, fear not as Saddlers World will have live, full match commentary.
