HELPING WALSALL MANOR HOSPITAL
SINCE the Goalden Gate Weekly Draw Lottery was introduced at Walsall Football Club, over £10,000 has been donated to the Walsall Manor Hospital.
A host of much-needed equipment has been purchased including a top-of-the-range ventilator for the Critical Care Outreach Team.
The Hospital have now set the club a new target - to raise enough funds to purchase three Graseby Medical Syringe Drivers. With your help, this can be achieved.
Speaking after her last visit to the hospital, Commercial Executive, Gemma Park, said:
"It was nice to be able to go into the hospital and see the equipment that we have purchased through funds raised by the Goalden Gate Lottery actually being used.
"It is important for us to raise much-needed funds for such worthwhile causes that will benefit the community and the Walsall Manor Hospital plays a key role in the lives of so many local people.
Sue James, Chief Executive of Walsall Hospitals Trust added: "We are most grateful to Walsall Football Club for their superb efforts. You can never have too much equipment and we have a wish list of things that we want.
"The equipment that Walsall FC has purchased for us over the past several years has been put to very good use and has already helped so many people.
"We thank everyone who is involved in the Goalden Gate Lottery most sincerely."
