IT'S BEEN a really frustrating Festive Period.

We haven't kicked a ball in anger what with the Bristol Rovers and Norwich City games both being postponed.

We have been hard at work training though and were in on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Sunday.

We arrived at the Banks's Stadium on Monday ready for the game but then it was called off with about an hour to go. The team went straight up onto the Astroturf and did some work to keep us ticking over and then we had yesterday and today off.

We're back in tomorrow and Friday and will be focussing all our energy on Saturday's game against Charlton. They soundly beat us at their place earlier in the season, so we'll be looking to avenge that this weekend.

I was pleased to see Clayton McDonald sign for the club yesterday. He's a top lad and a good footballer. He strengthens the squad and it's great to have him here permanently.

I'll keep it short and sweet this week.

Have a great New Year whatever you're up to and I'll see you in 2010!
