TARGET: WEMBLEY

THE SADDLERS begin our Johnstone's Paint Trophy campaign this evening with a Northern Section - East tie against League Two outfit, Chesterfield (kick-off 7.45pm).

Manager, Chris Hutchings has no new injury concerns, although Alex Nicholls' straight red card at the weekend will earn him a three-match suspension.

It may pave the way for recent arrival, Jon Macken to get a first start. The experienced front-man is back from a slight calf strain and scored on his debut in the 2-1 defeat at Brighton on Saturday.

Skipper, Darren Byfield is sidelined with an Achilles problem, whilst Steve Jones (knee) also misses out.

Chesterfield go into the game having won two and drawn two of their League games so far. They also lost 2-1 at home to Middlesbrough in the Carling Cup.

There is a buzz around the club following their move the impressive b2net Stadium during the summer and with new arrivals such as Craig Davies, Danny Whitaker and, of course, Dwayne Mattis, they are expected to challenge for promotion.

Mattis is relishing the earlier-than-expected return to Banks's Stadium.

The Spireites will be without injured duo Ian Morris and Gregor Robinson this evening.

Should the tie finish level after 90 minutes, it will go straight to penalties.

Tickets for the fixture are priced at £10 (adults), £5 (concessions - Under-18's & Over 60's) and free to under-16's when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
