THE SADDLERS will be seeking a return to winning ways on Saturday as Colchester United provide the opposition at Banks's Stadium.
Manager, Chris Hutchings only has one injury concern as Rhys Weston remains sidelined, although he is expected to resume full training next week.
Midfield man, Dwayne Mattis is back in contention having recovered from a calf injury that he sustained in our home victory over Brentford last month.
Meanwhile, Sam Parkin came through 45 minutes for the reserves on Tuesday evening with no ill effects to the groin injury that has laid him low. Parkin was amongst the scorers at the Pirelli Stadium.
Matt Richards returns from suspension to increase The Saddlers' options.
Colchester United go into the game in sixth place in the table. They have won five of their 18 away League games so far this season.
Manager, Aidy Boothroyd will be without the services of midfield man, Kemal Izzet who completes a two-match ban for receiving ten yellow cards.
Both Ashley Vincent and John-Joe O'Toole are expected to figure despite taking knocks in recent games as David Fox started the last game after two months out of the starting line-up.
Youngster, Craig Arnott has been rewarded for his performances at reserve and youth team level with a place in the first-team squad.
Former Saddlers' youngster, Clive Platt had to be content with a place on the substitutes' bench for the last game, but will be looking to get back in the starting line-up for his Banks's Stadium return after scoring just four minutes after entering the action at Carlisle. The tall front-man has nine goals to his name so far this term, including a strike in the last game
The U's have gone three games without a win, including a 2-1 set-back at Carlisle last weekend, so they will be looking to get back on track to maintain their position in the play-off zone.
Getting to the Banks's Stadium for Saddlers games has never been easier for football fans living in north Walsall thanks to three special matchday bus services which are being launched on Saturday. Click here to find out more.
Transport authority Centro, bus company Midland and Walsall Football Club have teamed up to fund and run the trial Saddlers Special bus services, which run for the last five home games of the season.
It means people living in the outer areas of the borough can get to home matches and back again quickly, easily and cheaply with tickets costing just £1.70 single or £3 return.
The services will cover areas including Bloxwich, Mossley, Lower Farm, Walsall Wood, Brownhills, Pelsall, Rushall, Coalpool, Shire Oak, Blakenall, Dudley Fields and Beechdale. Download your timetable here.
The buses will serve every stop on three carefully designed routes, taking Saddlers fans right into the Banks's Stadium car park by 2pm giving them plenty of time to get something to eat and drink, buy a programme and take their seat before kick-off.
Return services will depart from the same spot, leaving the ground at 5.05pm ensuring passengers don't need to wait around and get home quickly after the game.
If the trials are successful and enough people get on board Midland has pledged to keep running the buses during the 2010/11 season.
