Morris looking forward to gracing Wembley on Sunday...
HAVING been part of the Wembley experience with The Saddlers last weekend, youngster, Kieron Morris, returns to the national stadium again this weekend where he will be part of the Wrexham team that takes on North Ferriby United in the Final of The FA Trophy. The 20 year-old has been a big hit with the Welsh outfit since making a loan move in January.
He scored the winner in the local derby with Chester and also notched a couple in the second leg of the semi-final to secure Wrexham’s place under the Wembley Arch.
“I can’t wait,” he said with a smile. “Being part of it last weekend really whetted my appetite and now I am looking forward to getting out there on the hallowed turf.
“I’ve been pleased with my form since I joined the club. My confidence is high and the fans have been excellent. To hear them singing my name is great, something I’ve never experienced before.
“I go into the game confident I can make an impact. If we perform as a team, we’ll be okay.
“We’re the favourites going into the game, but we’ll have the right attitude because we know that North Ferriby will be at it and we’re aware of their threats.
“The key is in the preparation and for me personally, I think that being around the Walsall boys on Sunday and seeing things from the inside, will help me.”
