The boss prepares for Glovers' test...

WE GO into the game on the back of a goalless draw with Bradford City on Saturday. It was certainly a hard-fought encounter and I was pleased to see us have a lot of the play, the only disappointment was that we couldn’t go on and get the win.

We kept the ball really well and dominated the possession against well-organised and well-drilled opposition who had to defend for long periods.

We’ll take heart from that and it’s a sign of how far we are progressing that we have come away from our opening two League games disappointed not to have taken maximum points on each occasion.

There were plenty of positives to come out of Saturday’'s game. There were impressive performances all over the pitch, none more so than from teenager, Liam Kinsella, who made his senior debut.

I had no doubt whatsoever about putting Liam in; he’s a level-headed lad who works hard and acquitted himself superbly. He'’s another one off the production line who can go on to have a big future at this football club.

Yeovil just come down from The Championship and as such will present us with another tough test. It will be a different kind of challenge to the one we faced at the weekend, but if we can perform as we did on Saturday, we will give ourselves every chance of getting the result that we desire.

Thank you for your valued support in the last game. More of the same is required this evening and indeed in each of our battles this season.
