Poll to find temporary home for the Civic...
-WITH plans in the pipeline to refurbish the Civic in Wolverhampton, it means that the iconic venue would have to be temporarily relocated whilst the work was carried out.
There are some big names in the music industry, the likes of Robert Plant, Bob Geldof and Paul Weller, who are due to perform at the venue, so now the hunt is on to find a replacement within the Black Country.
The Express & Star newspaper are currently conducting a poll on their website in which Banks’s Stadium features on the list of potential temporary homes for this fantastic venue, which celebrated its 75th Anniversary last year and has played host to some of the leading names in music and comedy during the past eight decades.
