Back to League business

IT'S a return to League business at the weekend as we travel to face Chesterfield.

Wembley was a fantastic experience for us all, and whilst there was initial disappointment at the way in which we performed on the day, it's put to bed now and we turn our full attention to the League programme.

I feel that I have learned a lot from Wembley; it wasn't a good place to go and lose and the players know that they didn't perform to their best, but we can use it to inspire us to a strong finish to the season.

This League is such that there are still 14 teams looking up and 14 teams looking down. That's the way it is, but as far as we are concerned it's about concentrating on what we do and getting back into winning ways.

If we put in the sort of performances we did against both MK Dons and Sheffield United recently, we will give ourselves every chance of being successful.

A victory would be very important and the sense of going back to basics and being hard to beat is what we desire.

Chesterfield are a good side under Paul Cook. They are a footballing team who have been entertaining and we know that we will need to be at our best.

We go into the game with just Amadou Bakayoko and Rico Henry sidelines through inury. We have some very good characters here who I have every faith in to be able to bounce back.

We move forward as a group and the first step is Chesterfield on Saturday. Let's do all we can to bring home three points.
