ROWLEY PENS FIRST PRO DEAL

20 May 2015

Proud moment for youth team product...

IT WAS a proud moment for Levi Rowley today as he signed his first professional contract.

The youth team product has put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal with a further year’s option having impressed during his two-year Scholarship.

The attacking midfielder was top scorer for the youth team last term with ten League goals to his name despite being sidelined with a knee injury for the final games.

“This is what I have been working towards,” said the Stafford-born Rowley. “It’s a proud moment for me and my family.

“I’m eager to get started; I suffered a knee injury towards the end of the season but that is on the mend now.

“The good thing about this club is that you know that if you are good enough, you will get your chance. I am looking forward to working under the Gaffer and Richard O’Kelly and being able to show them what I can do.

“I know that the hard work is only just starting for me, but my aim is to settle in and start to make an impact.

“I’d describe myself as quick and lively; I am someone who likes to run at players and I am not afraid to roll my sleeves up and work hard.

“It’s about making every day count now and only by putting the effort in will I get the rewards.”
