PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE COMING TO A CLOSE

28 July 2015

Three games remain until 2015/16 gets underway...

THE SADDLERS’ pre-season schedule is coming to a close as the start of the 2015/16 campaign gets ever nearer.

We face the second of our two home games this evening as Tony Pulis brings his West Bromwich Albion team to Banks’s Stadium.

Having played out a 1-1 draw with The Baggies’ Premier League rivals, Aston Villa, at the weekend, Dean Smith’s side will be looking to put in another impressive display whilst at the same time getting much-needed game time into the players.

Admission prices for the visit of Albion are £12 (adults), £6 (concessions) and £15 for a Family Ticket of one adult and one junior. There will be a Matchday Programme on sale for just £2 per copy.

On Wednesday evening, a Walsall FC XI will be heading to Chasetown.

Kick-off at The Scholars Ground will be 7.30pm as we lock horns with Dave Stringers’ new-look side.

We have developed a close working relationship with Chasetown in recent years as our reserve team play their home games at The Scholars Ground.

It promises to be another worthwhile run-out for The Saddlers.

The curtain comes down on our pre-season fixtures with a visit to Luton Town on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).

The Hatters just missed out on the League Two play-offs at the end of last term and will be hoping to go one better this time around.

This will be our first trip to Kenilworth Road since March 2008 when Stefan Moore’s early goal gave us a 1-0 victory.

Admission is pay on the day only at £12 (adults), £6 (under-22s and over-65s) and free for under-10s (a maximum of three per ticket).
