AS PART of our annual End of Season Awards Night, which takes place here at Banks's Stadium on Sunday, May 4th 2014, supporters can once again select The Saddlers' Goal of the Season.

We’ve selected a top ten and now you have the tough task of choosing your favourite from these stunning strikes.

Once you have selected your Goal of the Season, simply email your choice to: a.poole@walsallfc.co.uk. The voting closes on Wednesday, April 16th 2014.

Without further ado, here is the short-list:

GOAL 1 – JAMES BAXENDALE v PORT VALE (A) (CAPITAL ONE CUP), 6/8/13
Some neat play on the left saw James Baxendale link-up with Ashley Hemmings before cutting inside and curling home with a peach of an effort.

GOAL 2 – ROMAINE SAWYERS v NOTTS COUNTY (H), 17/8/13
Some determined play from Romaine Sawyers saw him win the ball on the half-way line before embarking upon a positive run that ended with him arrowing home.

GOAL 3 – TROY HEWITT v WOLVES (A) (JOHNSTONE'S PAINT TROPHY), 3/9/13

A free-kick was teasingly whipped in to the far post where the ball was pulled back into the path of skipper, Andy Butler, who notched the winning goal.

GOAL 5 – ANDY TAYLOR v COLCHESTER UNITED (A), 12/10/13
Deep into stoppage time and with the last kick of the game, The Saddlers won a free-kick 25 yards out. Up stepped Andy Taylor and he perfectly placed the ball into the top corner.

GOAL 6 – ROMAINE SAWYERS v SHREWSBURY TOWN (H) (FA CUP), 9/11/13
The Saddlers drove forward out of the midfield as Romaine Sawyers picked the ball up on the half-way line before playing a neat one-two with Craig Westcarr and firing home.

GOAL 7 - MILAN LALKOVIC v CARLISLE UNITED (H), 21/12/13
The Saddlers turned defence into attack as Sam Mantom’s sweet ball picked out Milan Lalkovic wide on the left. He cut inside well before curling home an absolute beauty.

GOAL 8 – MILAN LALKOVIC v TRANMERE ROVERS (A), 11/1/14
Picking up the ball deep inside his own half, Milan Lalkovic embarked upon a positive, mazy run that ended with him curling the ball home.

GOAL 9 – FEBIAN BRANDY v NOTTS COUNTY (A), 25/1/14
A break-away from The Saddlers saw a superb ball in from the left pick out Febian Brandy who lashed the ball home, giving the ‘keeper no chance whatsoever.

As the ball deflected into the path of Ashley Hemmings he hit a powerful first-time strike from the edge of the area that simply flew into the back of the net.
