Midfielder to stay at the Banks's until 9th January...
Walsall have extended the loan deal of Manchester City midfielder George Evans until 9th January 2016.The 20-year-old joined the Saddlers in October and has scored three goals in five appearances for the Club.
He marked his Walsall debut with our opening goal in a 2-0 victory at Barnsley, and then scored in the thrilling 4-4 draw at Colchester four days later.
Evans, who has also played on loan for Crewe and Scunthorpe, netted his third Saddlers goal in our 2-0 win over Fleetwood in the FA Cup first round.
“It was a good opportunity for me to come here and I’m really enjoying my football,” said Evans.
“Playing week in, week out has been a great factor for me.
“The lads have welcomed me in very well and made it easy for me to settle in.
“They're a great set of lads so it’s been really enjoyable.
“We’ve had some really good results of late and hopefully we can keep winning games.”
