FANS FORUM SUMMARY

12 February 2016

Club meets with supporters over a range of issues...

THE CLUB met with around 30 fans at the Banks’s Stadium on Tuesday evening to discuss a range of topics at the first fans forum of 2016.

Chief Executive Officer, Stefan Gamble along with Club Secretary and Director Daniel Mole engaged with supporters in what was an insightful evening for all in attendance.

“It was a really engaging evening here at the Stadium,” said Gamble. “Dan and I discussed a vast array of topics and it was a really positive meeting.

“We are in an excellent position both on and off the field and it’s evenings like this that further increase the bond between the club and our supporters.”

The discourse covered a variety of issues, from Dean Smith’s departure to policing costs and ticket office queuing.

The club continues to find ways of maintaining a transparent and accountable stance with supporters and would like to thank all those who attended the forum.

“It’s great to meet with supporters and we aim to do this at least twice a year,” added Mole. “It’s really important to engage with our fan base and we understand how important aspects of the club are to them.

“It’s not always the big issues that are of concern.

“Obviously supporters want to know ins and outs, managerial changes and transfer policies but for every query like that there are others surrounding the day-to-day operation of the football club.

“At the end of the day it’s our football club and something that the Chairman and Board of Directors hold dear is our ability to engage with our fans in as many different forums at possible.

“I’d like to thank everybody who turned up as Stefan and I look forward to hosting another one in the summer.

“However in the meantime, supporters know if they have any queries they can contact me via email.”
