THE SADDLERS’ Early Bird season ticket campaign, which ran throughout the month of March, has been hailed as a success.“The uptake was fantastic once again,” said Walsall FC Chief Executive, Stefan Gamble. “Our supporters demonstrated their dedication to the cause by signing up in their droves.
“Season ticket sales are on a par with last year and as we still await credit approval on many of those supporters who opted to go for our instalment payment plan, provided courtesy of Zebra Finance, final numbers are set to marginally eclipse the total achieved in last year’s campaign.
“This is extremely pleasing and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those supporters who took advantage of the great offers available.
“The Early Bird campaign always sets the tone for the season ahead and there is certainly much to look forward to here. I would like to thank our supporters for the backing that they have given to the team throughout 2014/15; your backing is so important to us.
"Hopefully there will be a good turn-out for Saturday's final home League game of the season and we can end on a winning note to extend our current unbeaten run."
