COMMUNITY: ST MARTIN'S CHURCH MATCH VISIT

12 February 2016

Part of our Aspire to Engage initiative...

Around 30 members of St Martin’s Church attended last weekend’s match against Millwall as part of our Aspire to Engage initiative.

For many, it was the first time they had attended a live football match and – despite the result – they thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to attending future games.

At least 25 community groups meet at the church, from all ages and all walks of life.

As a church, St Martin’s support and encourage children from a wide range of backgrounds and welcome those with learning difficulties, Autism and ADHD.

They also support many charities and are a collection point for ‘These Hands are Better than None’ clothing for refugees.

We would like to thank St Martin’s for attending last Saturday’s match and we look forward to welcoming them back to the Banks’s Stadium in the future.
