Loan man eager to get off the mark...

ON-LOAN front-man, Michael Ngoo, is determined to play his part in our final five games of the season.

The 21 year-old joined The Saddlers from Liverpool at the end of January and is yet to find the net in ten outings, the majority of which have come off the substitutes' bench.

"It's disappointing that I haven't got off the mark yet," he said. "I just need one to go in and things can change quickly. Had I scored that penalty on my debut, it could have been a different story, who knows?

"That said, I am enjoying the experience and feel that it is benefitting me. I am still learning and playing alongside different players and in different styles can only help me.

"There are still five games to go, so don't rule me or the team out. Our focus is on Saturday and being able to put the pressure on those teams around us.

"We have five winnable games ahead and we know that we have to take things step-by-step. We will be doing all that we can to get the three points on Saturday and hopefully I can play my part in that."

Saturday's game against Bristol City will kick-off at 3.07pm as a mark of respect to the Hillsborough disaster, which happened 25 years ago this weekend.

Everyone here at Walsall FC extends our thoughts to all of those who were affected by this tragedy.
