The Club's Development Squad are back in action this week as we welcome Wrexham to Ray Hall Lane on Tuesday afternoon (kick-off 1.00pm).John Ward, the Saddlers’ Professional Development coach, is expected to name a mixture of youth and experienced players in his starting line-up.
The development squad are enjoying a fine run of form and will bid to make it two wins in as many weeks following our 1-0 triumph over Burton Albion last Wednesday.
Youth Team midfielder, Ashley Maddocks prodded home from close range in the only goal of the game and the teenager is likely to be involved once again alongside a clutch of apprentices as they bid to catch the eye of coaching staff.
