St James Primary School to represent Walsall FC...
St James Primary School were victorious in Walsall FC Community Programme’s Kids Cup at the weekend.They will now represent Walsall FC in the League One North finals at Bradford City in March.
Over 40 schools entered, with the winners of the four preliminary competitions facing each other in the finals on Saturday morning.
An early goal was enough for St James to claim the win against Manor Primary in the final, although runners-up Manor pushed hard and forced a few goalline clearances at the death.
Castlefort JMI School finished the competition in third, with Delves Junior School fourth.
The winners of the League One North finals will play the victors from the South finals prior to the League One play-off final at Wembley in May.
