St Francis Group, one of the UK’s leading regeneration specialists and an expert in brownfield development, have agreed a deal with Walsall FC to sponsor the Community Stand at the Banks’s Stadium.The Warwickshire-based company, who have many sites across Walsall, have signed a one-year contract, with the option of an extension.
As part of the sponsorship, St Francis Group will be giving away 400 tickets to local groups and other community organisations that work to engage local people in sport.
Susie Gill, Senior Programme Development and Commissioning Manager of Walsall Public Health, said: “This is a great opportunity for us to use these tickets as incentives for people increasing their physical activity levels within our programmes.”
Rob Braid, Operations Director at St Francis Group, added: “I am delighted that as a company active within Walsall, and more generally within the Black Country, that we are able to support such a worthwhile local initiative.
"As a brownfield regeneration specialist, our development schemes depend on the local communities and working with them to provide places and opportunities to work, rest and play.”
