SANGHA JOINS TELFORD ON LOAN

22 September 2016

Youngster moves to Bucks on one-month youth loan...

Young midfielder Jordon Sangha has today joined National League North side AFC Telford United on a one-month youth loan.

The highly-rated 18-year-old is a product of the club’s academy and was named Apprentice of the Season in 2015/16.

West Brom-born Sangha is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Saddlers and admits he is looking forward to his first taste of senior football.

“I’m excited to go out and play some games, to get in and around first-team football and get some experience,” said Sangha.

“I know Telford are quite a big club at that level. They’ve got a nice pitch there and they like to play football.

“To get experience of playing first-team football at my age is massive and hopefully I’ll then be able to come back and push to get into Walsall’s first team.

“I’ve been on the bench a few times this season but I haven’t got my debut yet so that was the main reason I wanted to go out on loan to get some first-team action.

“Hopefully I can do well there. I want to play as many games as possible and make a good impression on Telford and Walsall.”
